Stop the Blasphemous Movie “jesus of nazareth”
A new movie has been announced called “jesus of nazareth” (yes, the title is in lower caps.)
It’s based on a book of the same name and is the most blasphemous of the blasphemous movies that Hollywood has ever tried to force on American families.
For starters, the book presents the disproven lie that Jesus was born because a Roman soldier raped a girl named Mary.
Then, in this fictional story, Jesus does no miracles.
Jesus doesn’t know he is to die on the cross.
Jesus is looking for a heaven on earth.
Then, it gets even worse.
As the movie goes on, Jesus dies. That part is true. But, Jesus does not come back from the grave! Like so many myths through the centuries, this blasphemous telling denies the resurrection!
In short, this movie intends to declare that our faith is useless. And, it blasphemes the precious name and actions of Jesus.
If Jesus did not rise from the grave, then half the gospel is missing! Pulling out this historical fact yanks the “good” from the “good news!” It’s a cruel deception targeting our children and grandchildren who are impressionable and love to go to movies.
We must stop this movie of lies!
Paul Verhoeven who wrote the book will also be the director of the movie. He wants to spread these lies and blasphemies to a much broader audience. He is a part of a group of “scholars” called “The Jesus Seminar” so it’s no surprise that he will be spreading doubt and confusion.
The “Jesus Seminar” hates God. They are filled with pride and look down upon and sneer at people who believe the Bible to be true.
Everywhere they go, they sow seeds of doubt and confusion and are thrilled to do this now in a much bigger field. Movies speak loudly to impressionable children — and impressionable adults!
We must do something about it and we must do it now!
These so-called scholars are determined to force their unbelief on the mainstream of our culture.
Just as the blasphemous DA VINCI CODE sparked all sorts of reading about the supposed bloodline of Jesus, this movie could bring sheer blasphemy into the mainstream by popularizing the sewer of “information” from the Jesus Seminar.
But, we have something of the home field advantage. The filmmaker is just now ramping up and writing the script. We must strike while the studios have not yet spent the tens of millions on production.
Once they commit to produce, it’s hard for them to back out because of the finances.
